Job Summary
Defining and executing automation solutions, the full-time California Licensed Automation Specialist will enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes in refining and industrial chemical applications, while managing the product lifecycle and collaborating cross-functionally in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and support the product strategy and roadmap for automation solutions aligned with digital modernization goals
- Manage the full product lifecycle from concept through commercialization, ensuring integration with digital platforms and customer systems
- Act as the primary product owner, collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable automation solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6-10 years of experience in Downstream Chemicals, refining, or industrial process environments
- 3+ years in product management or technology-focused roles
- Hands-on experience with DCS, SCADA, PLCs, and field instrumentation
- Working knowledge of IIoT, data platforms, and digital integrations
