Job Summary
Supporting a growing litigation and restructuring practice, the full-time California Licensed Bankruptcy Paralegal will manage all aspects of bankruptcy cases, including preparing and filing legal documents, while working in either the Los Angeles or Dallas office with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after onboarding.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file pleadings, petitions, and motions related to bankruptcy cases
- Manage case dockets and deadlines, ensuring all filings are accurate and timely
- Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, discovery materials, and court filings
Required qualifications
- Minimum of six years of litigation experience with a focus on bankruptcy law
- Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy procedures and filings
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management systems
- Excellent drafting and legal research skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
