California Licensed Behavioral Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Intake Counselor for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral health screenings and triage calls/chats for mental health and substance use disorders
• Provide crisis intervention and ensure safety through de-escalation techniques
• Document interactions accurately in compliance with clinical service requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in human services such as psychology or sociology
• 2+ years of post-graduate clinical experience in direct services
• Experience with diverse populations and various psychological disorders
• Ability to accurately enter clinical information into electronic health records
• Bilingual in Spanish/English and availability to work Monday-Friday from 2pm-10:30pm PST
