California Licensed Behavioral Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Intake Counselor to provide crisis intervention and behavioral health services remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral health screenings and triage calls/chats based on presenting symptoms
• Document all interactions in a clinical manner and ensure compliance with health service requirements
• Provide customized behavioral health referrals and conduct crisis work to ensure safety

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in human services such as Psychology or Sociology
• 2+ years of direct clinical service experience post-graduation
• 1+ years of experience applying de-escalation strategies and trauma-informed care
• Experience working with diverse populations and various psychological disorders
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
