Job Summary
Providing critical support for the County of San Diego's 24/7 Access and Crisis Line, the part-time California Licensed Behavioral Counselor will manage calls from individuals seeking behavioral health services, conduct screenings, and link clients to appropriate care while working remotely with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Manage calls from the 988 Lifeline and conduct behavioral health screenings
- Provide customized behavioral health referrals and ensure client safety during crisis situations
- Document all interactions in compliance with clinical service requirements and maintain accurate clinical information in the electronic health record
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in human services or behavioral health field
- 2+ years of post-graduate behavioral clinical experience
- 1+ years of crisis management experience
- 1+ years of experience working with diverse populations and psychological disorders
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
