Job Summary

Providing critical support for the County of San Diego's 24/7 Access and Crisis Line, the part-time California Licensed Behavioral Counselor will manage calls from individuals seeking behavioral health services, conduct screenings, and link clients to appropriate care while working remotely with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Manage calls from the 988 Lifeline and conduct behavioral health screenings
• Provide customized behavioral health referrals and ensure client safety during crisis situations
• Document all interactions in compliance with clinical service requirements and maintain accurate clinical information in the electronic health record

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in human services or behavioral health field
• 2+ years of post-graduate behavioral clinical experience
• 1+ years of crisis management experience
• 1+ years of experience working with diverse populations and psychological disorders
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
