California Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate

Job Summary

To support the management of behavioral health benefits, the full-time California Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate will oversee case management and utilization review for behavioral health and substance abuse cases while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day administration of behavioral health benefits for facility-based care
• Utilize clinical assessments to determine and coordinate appropriate levels of care
• Assist in identifying community-based services for discharge planning throughout the treatment process

Required qualifications:

• Independently licensed clinician with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field, or an RN with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Active and unrestricted professional license in the state of residence
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related mental health environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Willingness to work occasional holidays and accommodate changes in working hours as needed
