California Licensed Behavioral Health Case Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Case Manager - Behavioral Health (Nurse or LMSW, LCSW, LPC) - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides telephone triage, crisis intervention, and emergency authorizations as assigned
• Performs concurrent reviews for inpatient and/or outpatient care and other levels of care
• Educates and makes appropriate interventions to advance the care of the member in treatment

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess one or more of the following licenses: CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, RN, or LPN
• Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, and/or substance abuse settings
• Must be licensed and located in California
• Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources
• Ability to analyze utilization problems and implement solutions to influence quality of care
