Job Summary
To support a growing pediatric practice, the part-time remote California Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will conduct behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations for children and adolescents, primarily focusing on ADHD and anxiety while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations for children and adolescents
- Gather and synthesize relevant clinical information to inform diagnostic formulation and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with behavioral health, medical, and care coordination teams to ensure appropriate care transitions
Required qualifications
- Active licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, or a doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) with active licensure as a psychologist
- Experience assessing children and adolescents and working with parents and caregivers
- Strong foundation in diagnostic assessment, clinical formulation, and treatment planning
- Comfort with assessing risk, safety, and functional impairment
- Ability to communicate clinical findings clearly to families
