California Licensed Behavioral Health Manager

Job Summary

Supervising a team of licensed and unlicensed staff, the full-time California Licensed Behavioral Health Manager will oversee behavioral health navigation and support services, ensuring effective care management and utilization review while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Sets and reinforces a member-focused team culture while managing clinical staff to ensure quality documentation and decisions
• Supports authorization and utilization management objectives for facility-based and outpatient care
• Prepares reports and analyzes data to coach the team towards meeting performance metrics

Required qualifications

• Licensed Mental Health Clinician with a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, or an RN with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Valid independent clinical license
• 5+ years of behavioral health experience post-licensure
• 5+ years of management and/or leadership experience
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
