Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Behavioral Health Physician Reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete timely behavioral health utilization reviews across various service settings, applying clinical judgment and documentation
• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with providers, maintaining professionalism and credibility
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex cases, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality care

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Current and unrestricted license in California, Arkansas, and/or Florida
• Board certification in Psychiatry
• 2+ years of post-licensure experience in behavioral health treatment settings
• Prior experience in utilization review or managed care
