California Licensed Behavioral Intake Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Intake Counselor - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral health screenings and triage calls, texts, and chats based on mental health and substance use disorder symptoms
• Provide crisis intervention and customized behavioral health referrals while ensuring safety and compliance with clinical standards
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate clinical information in the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in human services such as psychology or sociology
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience providing direct services
• Cleared status with a licensing entity if registered, with no probation or pending actions
• Experience working with diverse populations and various psychological disorders
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
