California Licensed Benefits Compliance Director
Job Summary
Providing senior-level legal and regulatory compliance support, the full-time California Licensed Benefits Compliance Director will manage compliance-related activities for the West region, mentor junior team members, and deliver client-facing resources while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the National Compliance Team on large-scale projects and daily operations
- Mentor junior compliance team members in project management, drafting, and professional development
- Deliver timely client resources, including regulatory summaries and educational materials, while managing compliance activities in the West region
Required qualifications:
- Graduate/Advanced Degree (Master, JD, Ph.D., etc.) required; Juris Doctor strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant health and welfare employee benefits compliance experience required
- Significant experience advising on California-specific health and welfare compliance requirements strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in health and welfare employee benefit-related laws and regulations
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities
