Job Summary

Leading the benefits team, the full-time California Licensed Benefits Director will manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with PEO-sponsored benefit plans, and deliver exceptional client and employee experiences in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration of PEO-sponsored benefit plans, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
  • Lead and mentor the benefits team, conducting performance reviews and fostering a collaborative culture
  • Serve as a strategic resource for clients, providing guidance on benefit plans and addressing inquiries
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with seven or more years of experience in benefits management
  • Three or more years of prior management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and related regulations
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
