Job Summary
Leading the benefits team, the full-time California Licensed Benefits Director will manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with PEO-sponsored benefit plans, and deliver exceptional client and employee experiences in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of PEO-sponsored benefit plans, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
- Lead and mentor the benefits team, conducting performance reviews and fostering a collaborative culture
- Serve as a strategic resource for clients, providing guidance on benefit plans and addressing inquiries
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with seven or more years of experience in benefits management
- Three or more years of prior management experience
- Advanced knowledge of ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and related regulations
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
