Job Summary

Providing crisis intervention and emotional support, the part-time California Licensed Bilingual Crisis Counselor will assist help-seekers in English and Spanish via telephone, working remotely with a schedule totaling 28 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Offers crisis counseling services via telephone and chat
• Conducts risk assessments of crisis calls alongside shift supervisors
• Maintains accurate call reports and participates in community outreach events

Required qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish
• Minimum of six months of relevant behavioral health experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
