California Licensed Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare facility, the full-time California Licensed Billing Specialist will manage billing processes, including data entry and follow-up with insurance companies, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Request and process all bills to third-party payors and patients to maximize reimbursement
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of charges, payments, and adjustments to patient accounts
• Perform follow-ups with insurance companies to facilitate efficient cash flow of hospital receivables

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional college coursework preferred
• Three years of business office experience, preferably in a hospital or medical office
