California Licensed Biostatistician

Job Summary

To support the development and validation of products in Solid Organ Transplantation, the full-time Sr. Staff Biostatistician will set strategies for applying statistical and bioinformatics techniques, co-lead clinical study designs, and provide statistical expertise while working onsite in Brisbane, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Co-lead research design and analytical strategies in clinical studies, including RCTs and observational studies
• Develop and execute complex analysis strategies, author reports, and provide statistical advice to cross-functional teams
• Champion the adoption of AI-enabled analytical tools to improve the efficiency and quality of biostatistical analyses

Required qualifications

• Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, computational methods, or a related discipline; additional training in biochemistry, molecular biology, or immunology is a plus
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry
• Expertise in R, SAS, or other statistical software packages
• Experience with optimal experimental design techniques
• Proven ability to work collaboratively on new product development teams
