Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel - Biotech Patent Law.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global intellectual property strategy for therapeutic products
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications worldwide while conducting prior art searches
• Provide legal counsel on IP matters and assist with litigation-related issues

Required Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Four years of experience in patent or intellectual property law in the biopharma or life sciences sector
• Preferred ten years of experience in patent law, including pre-JD experience as a patent agent
• Advanced degree in a life science field is preferred
