California Licensed Business Development Director

Job Summary

To support a growing clinical research organization, the full-time California Licensed Business Development Director will focus on securing new business and managing accounts within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors across California and the Western US, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Achieving sales and business development targets by creating and implementing strategies for identified markets
• Prospecting to establish a pipeline of sales opportunities and managing client relationships effectively
• Leading the proposals development process and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with client expectations

Required qualifications

• Proven sales track record in the clinical research or CRO industry
• Strong network within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors in California
• Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM tools for tracking client activities
• Ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies
• Experience in managing client relationships and leading proposal development processes
