California Licensed Business Development Director

Job Summary

Driving growth in Regulatory Science and Medical Writing services, the full-time California Licensed Business Development Director will develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts while serving as the primary liaison for sales-related activities in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sales efforts to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions for regulatory approvals and clinical development
• Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with service delivery and drive long-term strategic partnerships
• Enhance the company's visibility and credibility within regulatory and scientific services through effective client engagement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a business, science, or related field
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in selling services within the CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry
• Expert knowledge of the clinical research process and regulatory pathways (FDA, EMA, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in selling regulatory affairs or medical writing services
• Proven success in selling complex, consultative service offerings to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients
