California Licensed Card Investigator

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and organized, the remote Card Investigations Representative will research member account activity, process fraud and non-fraud card claims, and resolve disputes involving debit cards, credit cards, ATMs, and Zelle in a contract role based in California.

Key responsibilities

• Research and review member account activity related to card transactions and payment disputes
• Process fraud and non-fraud claims accurately and within required timeframes
• Document investigation findings and support claim decisions in internal systems

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Banking, credit union, financial services, or payment processing experience preferred
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Experience with debit cards, credit cards, chargebacks, fraud, disputes, or transaction investigations is a plus
