California Licensed Care Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Manager to oversee mental health and substance abuse treatment services remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inpatient and outpatient care services to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness
• Provide crisis intervention and develop discharge plans in collaboration with providers
• Educate members about benefits and resources while advocating for patient needs

Required Qualifications and Education

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of post-degree experience in healthcare or behavioral health
• Current licensure required, such as CEAP, LCSW, or RN
• Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse community resources
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
