Job Summary
To provide comprehensive management and communication of clinically-based appeals, the part-time Care Manager RN will work per diem day shifts remotely, advocating for reimbursement of services while ensuring patient-focused and compliant practices.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and communicate clinically-based appeals between Providence Health and Services and outside payers
- Advocate for reimbursement of services provided to patients within the PH&S ministries
- Ensure compliance and uniformity in patient-focused care activities
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- 4 years of direct patient care experience in an acute hospital setting
- 4 years of experience as a case manager in an acute hospital setting
