Job Summary
To enhance patient and family experiences, the full-time California Licensed Care Specialist will investigate complaints and concerns related to home health and hospice care, collaborating with healthcare professionals and legal services to resolve complex issues.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and address patient and family complaints regarding care quality and service delivery
- Collaborate with managers, physicians, and staff to resolve conflicts and improve patient experiences
- Manage a high caseload while ensuring timely responses to complaints and regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or a related healthcare field, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of recent relevant experience in patient advocacy or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and investigating quality of care complaints
- Proficient in case management and conflict resolution within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently while navigating complex situations
