Job Summary
Providing comprehensive case management for leave of absence and disability events, the contractual California Licensed Case Manager will serve as a single point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries, reviewing medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies while working remotely for a 12-month term.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate and respond to inquiries regarding leave and disability events, benefits, and options available to employees
- Review medical documentation and manage case plans to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Facilitate smooth transitions for employees returning to work, providing updates and communication throughout the leave process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in customer-facing roles and Human Resources, Claim Management, or Leave & Disability management
- Proficiency in English and Spanish language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information while adhering to confidentiality standards
- Knowledge of employment law and HR policies and procedures
