Job Summary
Managing a diverse caseload of casualty claims, the full-time California Licensed Casualty Claims Adjuster will evaluate coverage, liability, and damages while communicating with policyholders and other stakeholders, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day management of line of business claims, including evaluating information and negotiating settlements
- Set reserves and make recommendations regarding claim resolution plans and strategies
- Prepare timely reports on significant claim developments and participate in audits of third-party administrators
Required qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in handling General Liability/Auto and Premises Liability claims; experience with Professional Lines claims is a plus
- Proficiency in interpreting general liability policies, contracts, and risk transfer opportunities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple significant matters effectively
- Adjuster's License or willingness to pursue licensure within six months of hire
- Demonstrable track record of working autonomously and driving progress in a collaborative environment
