Job Summary

A company is looking for a 988 Chat & Text Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Offers crisis-counseling services via chat and text
• Completes risk assessments, safety planning, and follow-up with Chat/Text visitors
• Maintains accurate and detailed chat/text reports and responds to concurrent interactions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of relevant behavioral health experience; one year in crisis intervention preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
• Ability to effectively use web-based platforms and electronic documentation systems
