California Licensed Chat Supervisor

Job Summary

To support crisis intervention efforts, the part-time California Licensed Chat Supervisor will oversee and assist crisis chat and text counselors, ensuring compliance with program standards and providing training and feedback, all while working remotely for a total of 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Live monitor chat/text queues and ensure counselor adherence to policies for smooth service delivery
• Document and report feedback on counselor performance and provide individual support based on identified training needs
• Act as the primary communication link between frontline staff and leadership, addressing operational incidents and employee concerns

Required qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, or crisis line services
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of crisis line procedures and risk assessment
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and crisis line software
• Current California driver's license and acceptable driving record
