Job Summary
To provide per-diem medical treatment for adolescents aged 12-17, the part-time California Licensed Child Psychiatrist will direct care, ensure quality medical practices, and collaborate with program staff, with the flexibility to work remotely on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Direct medical treatment to adolescent clients within the scope of psychiatric licensure
- Participate in program leadership and communicate effectively with staff and clients
- Ensure compliance with licensure requirements and payer standards in medical practices
Required qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of a residency training program in psychiatry
- Active DEA registration in good standing
- California medical license for psychiatry
- Experience in adolescent psychiatric care is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours on a per-diem basis
