Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Civil Litigation Associate Attorney, the role offers an opportunity to manage a diverse caseload involving public entity defense and general civil litigation while gaining meaningful courtroom experience and mentorship from seasoned trial attorneys in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload involving public entity defense and general civil litigation
• Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with partners to develop litigation strategies and take increasing ownership of cases

Required qualifications

• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• Civil litigation experience in private practice, government, or insurance defense
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Deposition and motion practice experience preferred
• Motivated self-starter with a collaborative attitude
