Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and document an assigned inventory of complex claim files, ensuring timely communication with all parties involved
• Collaborate with medical case managers to facilitate early return to work and reduce claims costs
• Review and approve vocational rehabilitation plans and ensure compliance with applicable statutes and company guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• At least seven years of related experience or training, including a minimum of five years managing indemnity cases
• High degree of claims handling expertise, particularly with complex subrogation and legal issues
• Possession of an SIP certificate
• Working knowledge of the Labor Code of the State of California regarding workers' compensation claims
