Job Summary
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster III.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and document an assigned inventory of complex claim files, ensuring timely communication with all parties involved
- Collaborate with medical case managers to facilitate early return to work and reduce claims costs
- Review and approve vocational rehabilitation plans and ensure compliance with applicable statutes and company guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- At least seven years of related experience or training, including a minimum of five years managing indemnity cases
- High degree of claims handling expertise, particularly with complex subrogation and legal issues
- Possession of an SIP certificate
- Working knowledge of the Labor Code of the State of California regarding workers' compensation claims
