Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster III.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned inventory of complex claim files, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with applicable statutes
  • Collaborate with medical case managers to facilitate early return to work and reduce claim costs
  • Handle litigation management and pursue subrogation from third parties as necessary
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • At least seven years of related experience or training in claims handling
  • A minimum of five years managing indemnity cases with complex issues
  • Possession of an SIP certificate
  • In-depth knowledge of California Labor Code related to workers' compensation claims
