Job Summary
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster III.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned inventory of complex claim files, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with applicable statutes
- Collaborate with medical case managers to facilitate early return to work and reduce claim costs
- Handle litigation management and pursue subrogation from third parties as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- At least seven years of related experience or training in claims handling
- A minimum of five years managing indemnity cases with complex issues
- Possession of an SIP certificate
- In-depth knowledge of California Labor Code related to workers' compensation claims
