Job Summary
California Licensed Claims Adjuster, responsible for managing complex workers' compensation claims in a full-time remote position, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating timely resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial contact on new claims and document relevant facts
- Collaborate with medical case managers to facilitate early return to work and manage claims effectively
- Review and approve vocational rehabilitation plans and manage litigation processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- At least seven years of related experience in claims handling
- A minimum of five years managing indemnity cases with complex issues
- Possession of an SIP certificate
- Working knowledge of California Labor Code related to workers' compensation claims
