Job Summary

Analyzing complex workers' compensation claims, the contract California Licensed Claims Examiner will determine benefits due, manage high exposure claims involving litigation, and negotiate settlements while working remotely from Brea, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims to ensure timely resolution
• Negotiate settlements and communicate claim activity with claimants and clients
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests professionally and promptly

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to the line of business preferred
• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
