Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due and manage claims to resolution
- Negotiate settlements and calculate reserves while ensuring timely claim payments and adjustments
- Manage the litigation process and coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- CA adjuster certification is required
- Subject matter expert in insurance principles and laws relevant to workers' compensation
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
