Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due and manage claims to resolution
  • Negotiate settlements and calculate reserves while ensuring timely claim payments and adjustments
  • Manage the litigation process and coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • CA adjuster certification is required
  • Subject matter expert in insurance principles and laws relevant to workers' compensation
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
