Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims to determine exposure and manage claims to resolution
  • Negotiate settlements and manage claim reserves throughout the claim's lifecycle
  • Prepare necessary state filings and manage the litigation process for timely claims resolution
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Professional certification in applicable line of business preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and laws relevant to claims management
  • Experience with cost containment techniques and claims recovery processes
