Job Summary

Managing high exposure, complex claims, the full-time California Licensed Claims Examiner will lead investigations, determine liability, set reserves, and collaborate with legal counsel, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Directs and manages all aspects of investigative activity on complex claims
  • Establishes reserves and authorizes payments, ensuring timely disbursements
  • Mentors new team members and prepares cases for litigation in collaboration with defense attorneys
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4-8 years of technical claims investigations/settling experience
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
  • Industry designations such as IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU preferred
  • License requirements per state or jurisdictional guidelines
