California Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Supervising multiple teams of examiners, the full-time California Licensed Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims, manage the litigation process, and coordinate vendor referrals while working remotely or onsite in California or Nevada.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex general liability claims, developing action plans for timely resolution
• Manage the litigation process to ensure cost-effective claims resolution
• Lead team meetings, assign accountability, and provide training and support to staff

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of California workers' compensation jurisdiction and licensing required
