Job Summary
Working fully remotely, the California Licensed Claims Specialist will investigate and verify the validity of automobile claims, determining coverage, liability, and damages while exercising discretion and independence in decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Handles investigations regarding all aspects of auto claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation
- Applies an intermediate understanding of insurance policies and organizational relationships to adjust and negotiate claims
- Identifies potential fraud or subrogation issues and collaborates with assigned representatives to achieve optimal outcomes
Required qualifications:
- California claims adjuster license or equivalent certification
- Experience in claims investigation or a related field
- Understanding of insurance policies and industry standards
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours, regardless of location
- Strong analytical skills to assess claims and identify customer needs
