Job Summary

Managing complex medical malpractice claims, the full-time California Licensed Claims Specialist will analyze and resolve technically difficult cases while coordinating case management and ensuring high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes complex medical malpractice claims to determine exposure and manage claims to timely resolution
• Conducts investigations, assigns reserves, and recommends settlement strategies to optimize outcomes
• Coordinates legal defense and communicates claim activity with clients, maintaining professional relationships

Required qualifications

• 6 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
