Job Summary

A company is looking for a Class Action Counsel, Brief Writer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Draft substantive motions and briefs after consultation with the trial team
• Analyze case facts and apply relevant legal authority to create persuasive arguments
• Draft mediation statements and briefs as needed, and review evidence for the same

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of legal experience in wage and hour and class, collective, and/or representative actions
• Extensive experience drafting various types of motions and briefs
• Active bar license in California and the candidate's state of residence
• Ability to handle briefings in multiple complex matters effectively
• Capability to discern practical arguments for the defense of class actions in California litigation
