California Licensed Clinical Director

Job Summary

Bringing expertise in endocrinology or metabolic medicine, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and validate metabolic health features, oversee clinical studies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility for Oura's products among members, physicians, and health systems
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define clinical features related to metabolic health
• Design and oversee clinical validation studies to demonstrate product performance in the metabolic space

Required qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with expertise in general endocrinology, metabolic medicine, or a related specialty
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, or a related specialty with an active medical license
• At least 5 years of experience practicing medicine in a relevant field
• Prior experience in health product development or digital health in regulated environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse team presentations
