Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and manage staff training and regulatory compliance in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling to ensure accurate clinical documentation
- Lead data analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities in CDI processes
- Oversee training and education initiatives for the CDI team in partnership with medical leadership
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
- At least four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management, or eleven (11) years of relevant experience without a degree
