California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee clinical documentation reviews, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical records
• Lead data analyses and identify opportunities for improvement in CDI processes and training initiatives
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and federal regulations through audits and resolution of non-compliance cases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management, or eleven (11) years in a directly related field
