California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for accurate clinical documentation
• Lead data analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities in CDI processes
• Oversee staff training and education initiatives to enhance clinical documentation practices

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, or related fields
