Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will manage quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while providing mentorship and training to staff in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for clinical documentation reviews
  • Lead data analyses and identify improvement opportunities in CDI processes to enhance accuracy and completeness of documentation
  • Develop and oversee training programs for staff, fostering collaboration between the CDI team and medical leadership
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
  • At least eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, case management, or a directly related field
