Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will manage quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee quality assurance reviews of medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation
- Drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity by analyzing data and identifying trends for process enhancement
- Manage staff training and education initiatives to promote clinical documentation best practices and compliance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management
