California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

The full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will oversee clinical documentation reviews, drive improvements in the CDI program, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee the scheduling of documentation reviews to enhance accuracy and completeness
• Lead data and root cause analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities within clinical documentation processes
• Develop and implement training programs for staff in collaboration with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation education

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, case management, or a directly related field
