Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records to promote accuracy and completeness in clinical documentation
- Drive the improvement of CDI processes by analyzing data and identifying trends for enhancement
- Oversee staff training and education in clinical documentation practices, partnering with medical leadership for effective training initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, case management, or a directly related field
