Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews and driving improvements in the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) program, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will manage quality assurance reviews, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage clinical documentation reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Drive improvements in CDI processes through data analysis and root cause assessments
- Oversee staff training and education, establishing partnerships with medical leadership to promote CDI initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, or a directly related field
