Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and manage staff training and regulatory compliance in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee quality assurance reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation
  • Drive the improvement of CDI processes through data analysis and root cause identification
  • Manage staff training and education initiatives, establishing partnerships with medical leadership
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management
